Social care records that point at housing repairs

A concern in the social care system points at a repair in the housing system. The link between the two records is a record of its own, and you can read it. This is native interoperability: the two systems come from two suppliers, with no integration work between them.

What you will see

  1. When you press the reference, the repair is marked in the housing system.
  2. The link between the two records shows both ends and the type of link.

About 2 minutes. There is no sign-up. These systems open with no choice of user.

What to try

  1. Follow reference to housing repair

    1. In Foxglove Care, find a concern with a References line, for example the one that points at RR-1002.
    2. Press RR-1002 (Brindlewood Housing), then look at Brindlewood Housing.

Result The row of RR-1002 is marked in Brindlewood Housing for a few seconds.

  2. Read its link

    1. On the same concern, press See the link.

Result A window shows the link as one record: the concern and its system at one end, the repair and its system at the other, and the type of link.

What this shows about Technology DNA

  • Social care can read the repair because housing shared it with social care. Social care cannot change it.
