Farm's cow record, read by vet's system

The farm keeps one record for each cow. The vet's system reads that record with the farm's permission. The vet's consultation then appears on the farm's record of the same cow. This is native interoperability: the vet's system and the farm's system were built separately, with no integration work between them.

What you will see

  1. The farm's cow is in the vet's system, marked as the farm's own record.
  2. A consultation that you write in the vet's system is on the farm's record of the same cow.
  3. When the farm withdraws the vet's access, the cow leaves the vet's list.

About 4 minutes. There is no sign-up. Each system asks you to choose a user.

What this shows about Technology DNA

  • The farm chose the fields that the vet can read: ear tag, species, breed, sex and animal status. The date of birth stays on the farm.
  • The consultation is the vet's own record. The consultation points at the farm's cow, so the farm can read it.
  • The vet's system cannot change the farm's record. The platform refuses the change.
