Two words, same meaning: maintenance record and service record
The farm says maintenance record. The garage says service record. One link in the shared dictionary says that the two words mean the same thing, so the farm's system lists the garage's records under the farm's own word. This is native interoperability: neither system was changed to read the other's word.
What you will see
- The garage's record is in the farm's system, under the farm's own word.
- Each of the two dictionary entries lists the other under Also called.
- A service that you record in the garage arrives in the farm's system.
About 3 minutes. There is no sign-up. Each system asks you to choose a user.

What this shows about Technology DNA
- The entries Maintenance Record and Service Record were added to the dictionary by two different systems: the farm's and the garage's.
- A system can link a word that it added to another dictionary entry with the same meaning. The farm's system made this link.
- The farm's screen lists the records of both words under the farm's own word. Neither system converts the other's records.
- The garage records a service exactly as it did before the link existed. Each business keeps its own records, and neither can change the other's.
